Rama Verma, the then King of Kochi was pushed back by rival king and forced to make Thrupunithura as his royal seat. Hurt by this shift, which also meant
that he has to be away from his favorite deity at Guruvayoor temple, he vowed to built a similar temple in his own territory and to be close with deity at
the new temple he built a tiny palace for himself and thus the "Chittoor Kottaram" was built. CGH Earth Experience Group, have adopted this palace which
was built over a century ago and faithfully restored to its original but simple glory. From the wooden ceiling to original floor tiles to stained glass
painting everything is painstaking restored and no effort have been spared in giving the inmates with a authentic palace experience as it was over a
